The MedTech Ignite Compass Pitch Challenge is open to Australian innovators who are developing solutions to advance medical technology. Entrants may apply as individuals, teams, or Australian incorporated companies.
All eligible submissions should align with the competition’s mission to accelerate innovation that improves lives by combining clinical relevance with strong commercial potential.
To be eligible for the MedTech Ignite Compass Pitch Challenge, applicants must meet the following requirements and demonstrate alignment with the competition’s core principles.
IMPACT
A clear potential to improve healthcare outcomes and deliver meaningful benefits for patients, clinicians, and health systems.
INNOVATION
A distinctive and original approach, whether through a novel invention or a meaningful improvement on existing MedTech solutions.
SCALABILITY
The ability for the solution to grow and be adopted across multiple healthcare settings, markets, or geographies.
VIABILITY
A credible and well defined business model, including target customers, market demand, and commercial feasibility, with clarity around who will make and buy the product.
